Small Business Innovation Research and Technology Transfer Programs (SBIR/STTR)

Offers competitively awarded grants to qualified small businesses to support high quality research related to important scientific problems and opportunities in agriculture that could lead to significant public benefits.

Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative

The Organic Agriculture Research and Extension Initiative (OREI) seeks to solve critical organic agriculture issues, priorities, or problems through the integration of research, education, and extension activities.

Deadline: Typically February

AFRI Foundational and Applied Science Program

The Agriculture and Food Research Initiative supports grants of up to $10 million in six AFRI priority areas to advance knowledge in both fundamental and applied sciences important to agriculture.

Deadline: Typically December
